NSW – 8way Development Camp
January 16, 2016
We will meet in the packing area at 8am this coming Saturday 16th January. Please be timely knowing we cannot start unless all are in attendance. I would suggest arriving by 7.30am, sign in at Manifest with fivejumps at least on account, have your gear ready, cypress on, jumpsuit on, ready to start dirt diving and jumping after the initial briefing with Simone.
What to bring:
· FS suit – grippersand booties are necessary for 8way
· Full faced helmet
· Audible Alti
· Weight belt with enough weights for any slot
· Booklet (attached) and pen
· Rig – but that shouldgo without saying (ha!)
Please advise If for some reason you do not have all the tools necessary for 8way as above. I do have extra weights if required, considering some are travelling from another state limited forluggage space.
We are two teams of 8way for the weekend with fourOpen 8way players to assist Simone in jumping with the teams:
Andrew Barker, David Bakkers, Troy Crotty & Ove Jorgensen.
The attached booklet contains formations from the intermediate and open 8way dive pools selected by Simone. Please print and bring along with you on the day along with your 8way booklet to take notes. This is highly recommended to retain all the gems we will glean from Simone over the weekend. Slots will be assigned on the day.
We are very lucky indeed to have two top 8way camera flyers filming our jumps: Scott (Spud) Neander and Steve Tonson. Thank you!
See you soon!
