SUMMARY:NSW - Bigway Camp at Goulburn with Greg Jack
DESCRIPTION:Greg Jack’s Aussie Bigways Event\nGoulburn Drop Zone\n16 & 17 Sept\nAdrenaline Skydive at Goulburn is hosting an Intermediate Bigways event for those wishing to improve their Bigway skills. Jumps will be from the mighty bandeirante aircraft. \nOur Guest Coach \n \nGreg Jack is the putative leader of Aussie Bigways and a multiple Australian Record Holder in Bigways\, amongst the many other accolades that clutter his awards cabinet. If someone asked if you’d like to spend a weekend learning golf from Tiger Woods for $50\, would you say “yes”. Well here’s the skydiving equivalent. \nIs this event for me? \nThis event is designed for novice bigway jumpers wanting to progress from their current starcrest to intermediate bigways (16 ways). This event is also ideal for those wishing to refresh their bigway skills. \nWhy would I want to do this event? \nToo often intermediate bigway jumps at a DZ are the “zoo load” at the end of the day’s jumping. 10 or so people pour out of the plane with little or no organization\, some join a random base\, others “go low” and some never quite get there. \nHave you wondered what it is like to fly a 16-way piece? To witness the visual silence of 16 jumpers holding a human web that doesn’t wag\, buck or funnel? Here’s your chance to learn those skills and gain confidence. \nWhat skills will I learn? \nYou will learn and apply the techniques of dirt diving\, stacking up in the door for exits\, diving\, floating\, base work\, stadium approach\, docking\, avoiding “going low”\, tracking\, canopy piloting and landing in larger formations. \nYou’ll find quite a few camp participants are current Australian Record Holders attending to find new ways to challenge themselves and learn each time they join a camp. \nThis event is conducted in accordance with the P3 principles of bigway skydiving. The proven model the P3 organizers use allows smaller formations\, 20 – 40 ways\, to duplicate all the jobs\, visuals\, and responsibilities of a 100+ way formation. \nRegistration \nTo apply for a slot\, please email the following details to Mark Higgins at higgolikestojump1963@gmail.com \n\nYour license\nAPF #\nJump number/type\nPrevious bigway camps (when/coach)\,\nany canopy course(s) and\ntunnel time/type\n\nThere is only 15 slots available so best you get in quick.\nThere is a rego fee of $50 for the weekend which includes dinner on Saturday night. \nFor more information about Adrenalin Skydive drop zone\, visit their website:\n\nEvent Organiser\nMark Higgins\nNSW State Mentor\n \nThis event is proudly sponsored by the NSW Parachute Council
