WA – Intermediate Big Way Weekend

What do I have to do to get on that Big Way???
The skills needed to guarantee and invitation need to be understood and practiced. Shirley Cowcher, WA’s Aussie Bigways Mentor and large formation record holder, will be running an Intermediate Big Way Weekend on the 27/28 August.
You will get the opportunity to practice exits from different slots, float, early diver, mid diver and late diver, as well as flying different positions in the formation. There will be an emphasis on gaining awareness of quadrants, stadiums and radials and lots of non-contact flying – just so you don’t get grip fixation. No momentum docks will be the aim when you are allowed to dock. To finish off you can learn all about tracking teams.
If you have registered for the Dan BC event in December, then you should consider this as a currency event. There are only 16 slots available and registration will be on a first in basis.
Participants must be current FS jumpers and have participated in 50 – 100 jumps which are 8 to 12 ways. You’ll also need a jumpsuit with outside and inside leg grippers and boosters.
Contact Shirley and provide an outline of your experience: Licence, jump numbers, canopy courses attended, type of jumps most frequently participate in.
