Botswana – C130 Hercules Bigway Jumps with Dan BC!
The Makgadikgadi Epic Skydiving boogie and symposium is one of the most unforgettable experiences imaginable and is scheduled from the 13th until the 16th of July 2018! The Makgadikgadi Epic, hosted in the salt pans of the Makgadikgadi in some of the most scenic parts in northern Botswana, truly is something to experience. Blue wildebeest and flamingos are some of the animal wildlife you will see on your way to boarding point every day. Oh! I almost forgot – this is a skydiving event. We are being spoiled over the 4 day duration with two CASA 235 tailgates that can accommodate up to 40 skydivers each. These two planes will be what we start off with for the first two days. To spice it up, the Botswana Defence Force will throw in a Hercules C130 together with the Casa 235’s for the last two days. REGISTER NOW! It's a fun mid-winter break, but with decent coaches and aircraft to get some bigway fun!!! Novice to Intermediate Coaches - Stretch, Alan Moss & Tracey Basman Slots will be limited. If you haven't already heard about it, please think about registering ASAP for the BOWEN BIGWAY BOOGIE. It's a joint event, organised by me and Jonny Goss at Airlie Beach Skydivers. The idea is to escape the southern winter and skydive over the stunning Whitsundays with temperatures in the mid 20s and staggeringly gorgeous views. We don't have a tunnel in Melbourne so this will be a great way to get our bigway fix in the middle of winter. WHERE: BOWEN, Queensland. (Fly in to Airlie Beach) WHEN: July 15/16 to 20th (15th is a star crest day. 16th is start of event.) COACHES: Stretch, Mossy & Tracey from Aussie Bigways. It's bigway jumping for intermediate and beginner skill level, with a boogie vibe! Single planes and multi-points. Tickets are $360 for a 10 pack. Rego is really cheap thanks to APF and NQPC funding. Plus there'll be prizes and dinners and a fun day off in the Whitsundays in the middle of the event. (A great mid winter holiday for partners as well!!!) There are 22 slots left. I suggest that you register now and then start worrying about air fares as they are likely to come down in the weeks ahead. This is a super fun way to prepare for next year's Aussie Bigway record.
